Ionescu scored 26 points, matching the highest tally in any round of the preceding contest. Curry clinched victory with a score of 29, including two flawless racks.Each successful shot triggered a donation from State Farm to the NBA Foundation. The challenge stemmed from Ionescu’s impressive performance at the 2023 WNBA All-Star Game, where she set a record. Curry accepted the challenge during a televised game against the Sacramento Kings.Curry, a two-time NBA 3-Point Contest champion, holds the record for most regular-season 3-pointers. In 2023, Ionescu set a WNBA single-season record with 128 3-pointers.
