Despite being ranked fifth in the recent Kia MVP Ladder, Tatum emphasizes the importance of understanding the team’s dynamics, where he contributes not just in scoring but also in various ways to ensure victories. In a recent game against the Chicago Bulls, Tatum showcased this team-oriented approach by delivering a well-rounded performance with 25 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and three steals. 

Although his scoring might not match other MVP candidates, Tatum’s primary concern is contributing to Boston’s wins, reinforcing a team-first mentality.
