Lewis Koumas and Jayden Danns scored as Liverpool defeated Southampton 3-0 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Emirates FA Cup.

Koumas, making his senior debut, opened the scoring just before halftime at Anfield. Danns added two more goals in the 73rd and 88th minutes.

This victory sets up a quarter-final clаsh with Manchester United. Despite Southampton starting brightly, Liverpool capitalized on their chances. Harvey Elliott and Koumas threatened before Koumas found the breakthrough assisted by Bobby Clark.

Southampton attempted to respond after the break but Liverpool remained in control. Danns sealed Liverpool’s progression with a goal, securing a comfortable victory.
