Manchester City Puts The Pressure On Leader Arsenal With 4-0 Over Brighton

City maintained pressure on league leader Arsenal by securing an impressive 4-0 victory away at Brighton.

During City’s 12-day absence from Premier League action, both Arsenal and Liverpool had overtaken Pep Guardiola’s team in the standings. However, City remained focused on their goal of another title, knowing that six victories would secure it.They showed their determination with a dominant performance against Brighton, a team that had lost only twice at home all season. Kevin De Bruyne opened the score with his first ever Premier League header goal.

In the same half, Phil Foden scored twice following Kevin De Bruyne’s opener, putting City in a commanding position.

Julian Alvarez added a fourth goal in the second half, narrowing the gap between City and Arsenal to just one point.

This means City now need five more league victories to clinch their fourth consecutive title.
