Erling Haaland’s outstanding performance, scoring four goals, led City to a 5-1 victory over Wolves at the Etihad Stadium, bringing us within one point of the top of the Premier League.

Haaland was unstoppable, converting two penalties and an incredible header to secure his ninth City hat-trιck before halftime.

He then scored the fourth goal eight minutes into the second half, restoring City’s three-goal lead just after Wolves forward Hwang Hee-chan had scored.

Late substitute Julian Alvarez, in his 100th City appearance, added a fifth goal in the closing stages.Under Pep Guardiola’s management, City have now gone 20 league matches unbeaten and, with a game in hand over leaders Arsenal, are just three victories away from achieving a record fourth successive top-flight title.
