Drake has no hesitation to purchase a nature-inspired mansion valued at $65 million for his beloved son

“Drake” Graham has set Beverly Hills’ Trousdale Estates abuzz as its newest resident. After spending the past decade in the Hidden Hills gated community, an hour northwest of downtown Los Angeles, Drake now appears to be temporarily renting in the 90210 area. Could this signal a permanent move? It’s possible, especially with The Weeknd recently making a similar transition.

Drake, a Toronto native, is famously obsessed with luxurious properties. His Toronto mansion spans 50,000 square feet, while his Hidden Hills estate comprises three connected homes. His current Beverly Hills rental, an equally lavish residence, was designed by world-renowned architecture firm SAOTA and completed this year. The home features a semi-subterranean courtyard, a dining room, and a 20-foot waterfall cascading around a 15-foot olive tree imported from Italy, which was installed by a 15-person crew using a crane. The waterfall flows into an exterior moat.

This level of grandeur comes at a high price. The house, marketed as a “natural” home due to its use of natural elements like the olive tree and waterfall, is named “Elementi.” Although it’s unclear how much Drake is paying to stay there, the mansion is no longer listed for sale.

Public records show the half-acre property was last sold for $15 million in 2014. It sits atop a prime location in Trousdale Estates and was built on spec by Luxford Investment Group, a high-end development company led by real estate agent Michael Chen. The project was completed for the home’s owner, an LLC linked to billionaire Chinese film producer and art collector Wang Zhongjun.

Drake has been sharing photos and stories on Instagram, showing his satisfaction with the contemporary castle. The 18,000-square-foot residence includes a separate catering kitchen with Viking appliances, a spiral staircase, a movie theater, custom Minotti furniture, and a fully customized kitchen featuring Gaggenau appliances and a marble island.

The private owner’s suite boasts a store-sized closet and dressing area, two bathrooms adorned with rare marbles, and a 400-square-foot private balcony with a jacuzzi, offering stunning views of the hillside below.
