Eminem is set to become a grandpa!
On October 3, the rapper released an emotional music video for his song “Temporary,” showcasing numerous home videos of his daughter Hailie Jade Scott, 28. Towards the end of the video, Eminem shares a clip of Hailie revealing that she is expecting her first child with her husband, Evan McClintock.
In the video, Hailie hands her father a blue football jersey that reads “Grandpa” with the number 1, along with a sonogram image. Eminem’s expression shifts as he becomes visibly emotional and tears up at the joyful news.
A representative for Eminem has not yet responded to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
Hailie Jade got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, McClintock, on February 4, 2023. The couple had been dating for six years after meeting at Michigan State University in 2016.
She captioned a photo of McClintock proposing and her sparkling diamond ring, “Casual weekend recap … 2.4.23 I love you @evanmcclintock11.”

In an episode of Hailie Jade’s Just a Little Shady podcast, McClintock shared that he sought Eminem’s blessing to propose during Hailie Jade’s birthday party in December 2022.
“I noticed your dad going downstairs, and I thought, ‘I have to do this right now, or it won’t happen today, and I’ll need to find another time,'” he recalled. “So, I followed him downstairs, and luckily, he was just there getting your cake, which allowed me to make my move.”

During a 2020 interview on Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson, Eminem spoke fondly of Hailie Jade’s relationship, saying, “No babies. Just a boyfriend. She’s doing good. She’s made me proud for sure.”
More than a year after getting engaged to McClintock, Hailie Jade shared on Instagram that they had tied the knot, posting photos from their wedding.
In her caption, she expressed her joy: “Waking up a wife this week 🥲. We couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful weekend celebration.”
She continued, “So many happy tears were shed, laughter and smiles were shared, and so much love was felt. Evan and I are incredibly grateful for all the family and friends who traveled to support us and be part of this new chapter in our lives as husband and wife 🤍.”
