After spending three years in a $16,000-a-month rental in Los Angeles, “Black and Yellow” rapper Wiz Khalifa, born Cameron Jibril Thomaz, purchased a new home in Encino for $3.4 million.
Khalifa still holds onto that property and another in Pittsburgh, but he upgraded to a more lavish mansion just three miles away, spending over $7.6 million. It’s unclear if he’s already added his signature touches, such as a personal cаnnabis bar, recording studio, or Steelers-themed game room.
With a successful music career, his Khalifa Kush strain, and his Wеed Farm mobile game, where players grow virtual crops, Khalifa has amassed an estimated net worth of $60 million.
His newly built modern farmhouse-style mansion spans over 8,000 square feet, boasting six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. It features open-concept living spaces with wood-beamed ceilings, light hardwood floors, and chic light fixtures. Additional perks include a home office, gym, movie theater, and a separate guesthouse.
Secluded behind a long gated driveway, the two-story stucco and wood home is fronted by a large motor court and a three-car garage, ideal for housing Khalifa’s vintage car collection, which Architectural Digest says includes a 1969 El Camino, Chevelle, muscle cars, and a Mercedes Benz.
A grand double-height lobby leads to the glass front entrance under a porte-cochère. Inside, you’ll find a formal dining room with a wet bar and a living room with a sleek linear fireplace and sliding glass doors opening to the backyard.
