The school where Real Madrid striker Vinicius Junior first became well-known has been honored with a new sports complex.
The 22-year-old went back to his hometown of Sao Goncalo, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to attend his former school, Odete Sao Paio.
His bond with his town was forever altered when the new Los Blancos No. 7 stole the show at the opening of the Vinicius Sports Centre, which bears his name.
According to Marca, Vinicius requested that current and past students play a pick-up game.
The official school social media accounts aired the game live.
